6. Affiliate & Commercial Relationships
Some deals on MauritiusOffers.com may include affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking through. This does not affect the price you pay. Terms — Common Questions
Is MauritiusOffers responsible if a deal has changed or expired?
No. MauritiusOffers is an aggregation platform — we publish deals submitted by businesses in good faith but we are not a party to any transaction between you and the business. Deals can change, expire, or be withdrawn by the business at any time without notice. Always confirm the deal terms directly with the business before making a purchase. If a deal is no longer valid, use the "Report Expired" button and we will remove it promptly.
Can I submit a deal on behalf of my business?
Yes, provided you are authorised to represent the business and the deal is genuine, accurate and compliant with Mauritius consumer protection law. By submitting a deal you grant MauritiusOffers a non-exclusive licence to publish, promote and share it across our platform and social channels. We reserve the right to edit descriptions for clarity, or to reject deals that are misleading, fraudulent, or in breach of our guidelines.
Are paid Featured or Premium listing fees refundable?
Paid listing fees are non-refundable once a listing goes live on the platform. If you need to cancel before your listing goes live, contact us within 12 hours of payment and we will consider a refund. For technical issues where a paid listing does not appear correctly on the site, we will either fix the issue or provide a credit toward a future listing.
Does MauritiusOffers earn commission on deals?
Some deals include affiliate tracking links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. Affiliate deals are not marked differently to editorial deals, but we only feature offers we believe provide genuine value to Mauritian consumers. Paid Featured and Premium listings are clearly a commercial placement and are labelled accordingly.
What are the rules on prohibited use of the site?
You must not use MauritiusOffers to submit false or misleading deals, scrape the site automatically, attempt to bypass security controls, infringe intellectual property rights, post defamatory content, or impersonate any business or person. Violations may result in removal of your listings without refund and, for serious breaches, referral to the relevant Mauritian authorities. Our full terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
